The villa is located in a typical Spanish poblado in the middle of a pine forest with a fabulous view on the isles of Medas- distance is - 2km from Begur Bagur and less than one Km from Sa Tuna.
Surrounded by wonderful beaches - the area is rich in tourist itineraries of great cultural interest. Distance is 120 Km from Barcelona.

The apartment is on 2 levels that separate the day area from the night area.
First floor : 3 room double - one bathroom.
Ground floor : lounge with wood heating (chimney) - independent kitchen- bathroom with shower-terrace with barbecue- terrace on the back - shared swimming pool.

There are numerous water sports in the area and three excellent golf courses within 15 minutes drive.

The beaches at Sa Tuna , Sa Riera , Fornells , Aiguafreda , Aiguablava and Tamariu are all within a short drive.

Begur - Bagur is a historic village in the centre of the Costa Brava surrounded by some of the most beautiful bays on the Mediterranean. The area offers everything for an enjoyable holiday, whether you are looking for culture, sport or relaxation. Approx. 80 Km south of the French/Spanish boarder and approx. 45 Km from Girona. The villa is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Spain the Costa Brava. The Costa Brava has a rocky coastline, plentiful in coves, secluded beaches and little fishing villages. Sa Riera, right in the heart of this coast and recognised as being one of the jewels of the Costa Brava, is about 15 minutes walk from the villa. Salvador Dali lived near here and the Dali Museum in Figueres is only 30 minutes drive. The French border is an hours drive north and Barcelona is 1 hour 15 minutes. Diving, Walking and Golf This area really is one of the best areas in Spain for Scuba Diving. I would recommend the Sa Rascassa Dive Centre at Aiguafreda, less than a one km away, who have good equipment, are experienced and speak English, Spanish, French and German. If you haven't dived before, they can also give you a try dive - it's a great safe place to dive with loads to see. The marine reserve called Ses Negres, is about 2 minutes walk from the villa, and is excellent for snorkeling, lots of fish to see in very clear water, but as it is protected, scuba diving is not permitted in this specific location. Please ask us if you have any more questions about this. The Costa Brava is wild and rugged area with tremendous views and scenery. It has great walks and 370km of marked paths which are maintained by the Baix Emporda Tourism Committee. There are 9 golf courses in the area including 2 championship courses

How to get here From the UK, you can get a ferry from Dover to Calais. The drive time from Calais is 12 hours. Otherwise, most budget airlines fly from many UK airports. Try the web sites of EasyJet, Ryanair, BMI baby, and Jet 2. The closest airports to the villa are Girona, Perpignan and Barcelona.

Some days we were very hard-pressed to leave the house and pool! We had lovely food everywhere that we went, and one day went so far as Port Ligat and Cadaquez (enchanting!!!)
